The Problems with Porn

problems with pornDespite the title of this article, I’m personally not anti-porn. Now, you might not expect that from a woman, but I truly do not believe porn is the root of all evil…

… when used in moderation.

Please read that bit again. Obviously, there are challenges that arise when someone develops a porn addiction or abuses porn and it negatively affects their relationship.

We’re not talking about that in this article. However,  despite my general support of moderately viewed porn, I do think there are some problems with porn that arise even when porn is viewed responsibly.

  • Distorted Body Image – Just like when women peruse Vogue and see the uber-tall size 0 fashion models in the latest couture and then worry that they’re “fat,” porn can give an unrealistic sense of what an average person’s body looks like. That guy with the 8-inch plus penis is not average. There’s a reason he’s working in porn, and part of it (like the whisper-thin supermodel) is because of their body. In addition to their penis size, male porn stars are 27 pounds lighter, on average, than the average American male. Thin and a large penis — it’s not a surprise that porn can give men penis envy. The good news is, if you’re unhappy with your penis size (beyond idealizing porn stars), there are things you can do about that! And, you’re in the right place!
  • The Myth of Stamina – The marathon sessions of sex, complete with a never-ending erection, can make any average guy feel a little inadequate in the sack. First, it’s important to note that the average length of intercourse is between 3 and 7 minutes. That would make a pretty short movie. For this reason, and because porn stars have to be “up” for their scenes without fail, many actually use an injectable drug to keep them hard, for those incredibly long scenes. Of course, if you’d like to last longer in bed, we have resources that can not only help you last as long as you want, but also become multi-orgasmic.
  • Confusion About What Women Want – I think this is probably the easiest porn problem to rectify, and you can do it with one simple word – Communication! Of course, every woman is different, so we don’t all enjoy the same things. Heck, we might enjoy something sometimes but not at other times. What can I say? We’re an enigmatic gender. However, don’t assume your partner wants to be treated like a porn star. We don’t always want to be pounded into the headboard. Facials really may not be her thing. She may not appreciate being twisted into a pretzel when a more comfortable position would more than get the job done. And, although many porn movies are eager to get to the main action — chances are your partner would really prefer some good foreplay. Talk about these things. Find out what your partner likes/doesn’t like. Don’t assume because you saw it in a porno that she’s going to think it’s hot.

Q. Is there anything to myofascial unlocking of the penis?…

… If so, what are the techniques for making it happen? I’ve been searching the web for information on individual differences in ligament flexibility.  Because I’m have such minimal gains in length after two years, I’m beginning to conclude some guys have a genetic makeup that allows their ligaments to stretch more easily.  I haven’t found any articles to confirm this; do you know of any?  If not, what’s your take on my hypothesis?

Big Al: There has been some research done on fascial stretching, and it has possible applications for penis enlargement.  I’ll provide some links, but first- you might want to research “Davis’ Law”, and the concepts of mechanical and biological creep (if you haven’t already done so).

Q. I have been practicing reverse kegels,…

… when I urinate and during stamina exercises. I try to make sure I am not accidentally tightening my PC muscles to start forming a better habit. Any advice?

Big Al:  You’ll want to note this and consider it as part of your regimen. I would advise against doing reverse (or any other kegels) indiscriminately as:

  • There’s no tracking involved, and
  • To reduce the possibility of over-training.

Q. I was under the impression that you could do Kegels more frequently…

… without fatiguing the muscles, resulting in stronger erections with minimal training? I’m losing my erection a bit during squeeze/jelqs, so I add a few more Kegels to keep my EQ up during training, which in turn will lead to better results. Is this correct?

Big Al:  That’s incorrect.  Kegels target the PC (Pubococcygeus) muscles, and these muscles can be overtained just like any other.  The results can be:

  • Extreme pain,
  • Spasming, and
  • Even problems with your erections.

You can visit forums like PEGym and read reports from men who have developed pelvic floor problems from abusing the Kegel.

Now, you CAN achieve the type of development that enables you to Kegel extremely frequently (just like one can train themselves to run marathons), but doing this takes time.  Also, there is a point of diminishing returns.

Q. My questions are about performance anxiety and premature ejaculation….

… I understand the Stop and Start is a crucial stamina routine that will help with premature ejaculation, but I am in the process of totally ridding myself of any pornography.  I do not have porn induced ED or anything like that, but I want to rid myself, so I do not ever get that ED as well as reduce any performance anxiety.  I used porn a little to help get a stronger EQ for stamina, but now I will cut it out, and I am afraid it will hurt my EQ big time. 

I want to continue to do a stamina routine, but I have been told to abstain from not only porn, but also edging, AKA Stop and Starts, even without porn, because it will reward my brain without sex.  What should I do?  I do not know what to do because I want to continue my routine with stamina involved, but think ridding myself for good of any porn, which is definitely good, will lower my EQ. Please help.

Big Al: Your decision to wean yourself off of porn is a good one.  The Stop and Start shouldn’t be placed in the same category as standard masturbation. To put things into comparison, the Stop and Start is a conditioning exercise where you practice visualizations to create positive associations (in addition the physical conditioning), so this would help to offset any lost EQ that would be had by abstaining.  That’s my opinion, but if you’re intent on following a specific course and they mentioned edging/Stop and Starts as something that you should avoid, then this should be considered.

Q. What are some of your methods…

… for getting a boner without porn?

Big Al: Weaning yourself off of porn may not be initially easy, but it’s something that you may have to do if you wish to optimize your penile functioning.

For now, when you approach a stamina session, do so without any specific expectations. This will reduce/eliminate the anxiety to perform. You’ll want to focus on mental images that are pleasing and nonthreatening for now. Closing your eyes and/or playing soft music in the background will help you to relax.  Use a warm, thick lube and “tease” yourself physically, as necessary, to stimulate and maintain your erection.

Try to make this [apart from sexual encounters] the only form of sexual activity that you give yourself, until you adapt to getting erect without porn.  If you follow the above instructions (especially the part about
reducing anxiety), then you should see improvement in just a few sessions.

Causes of Shortening of the Penis

Losing the hair on your head and having it reappear in weird places like your ears isn’t bad enough, with age can also come a shortening of the penis. This decrease in penis length is due to atrophy.

  • Less Testosterone – With age, testosteroneshort penis levels often decline.
  • Less Erections – With a lower level of testosterone in the body, there’s an associated drop in the libido. Lower sex drive means less erections.
  • Use it or Lose it – As with the other muscles in the body, when they aren’t being used regularly, they begin to atrophy, which results in less muscle mass and a smaller penis.

There are other reasons why you may experience a smaller penis. Some of these are within your control; others are not.

  • Weight Gain – Gaining weight is a cause of the shortening of the penis that is completely withing your control. As you gain weight, fat is deposited in the pubic area, expanding the fat pad over the pubic bone. Although your penis actually stays the same size, the usable length is reduced. For every 30 pounds you gain, you lose 1/4-inch of your usable penis length. Obesity is also associated with heart disease, and reduced blood flow can lead to penis shortening. In addition, being overweight increases your chance of erectile dysfunction.
  • Peyronie’s Disease – Development of Peyronie’s disease is another reason why a man may experience a shortening of the penis. As plaques form in the penis, it causes a curvature in the penis, shortening the length directly from base to tip.
  • Prostate Surgery – One of the side effects of prostate surgery is potential nerve damage. This can result in a shorter penis.
  • Inborn Defects – Congenital cordae, also known as a tethering of a penis, can cause the penis to be shorter. Chromosomal abnormalities also can result in a shorter penis.

VigRX Plus Study Demonstrates Effectiveness

  • They also reported their libido to be 45% stronger than those who took the placebo.

FDA Approves the 1st Drug Treatment for Peyronie’s Disease

xiaflex peyronies diseaseIn December 2013, the FDA approved the first drug treatment for Peyronie’s Disease — Xiaflex (collagenase clostridium histolyticum).

This is the first non-surgical treatment option the FDA has officially approved.

Peyronie’s Disease

Peyronie’s Disease is a curvature of the penis. Scar tissue under the penis’s skin causes the penis to bend abnormally during an erection. Although many men have a natural slight curve to their penis, Peyronie’s Disease is diagnosed when this curvature is at least 30 degrees during erection. This curvature can lead to problems during intercourse and even erectile dysfunction.

Xiaflex

Xiaflex is made from the protein of a living organism called – collagenease clostridial histolyticum. Xiaflex was first approved as a treatment for Dupuytren’s contracture — a progressive disease that affects a person’s ability to properly straighten and use the fingers of their hand, due to a build up of collagen. It is surmised Xiaflex also breaks down the build up of collagen scar tissue, that forms the curvature of the penis, for those suffering from Peyronie’s disease.

Treatment with Xiaflex

Treatment for Peyronie’s disease with Xiaflex is as follows:

  • A maximum of four treatment cycles.
  • Each treatment cycle consists of two injections of Xiaflex into the collagen-containing structure of the penis.
  • A penile modeling procedure (the massaging of the penis to help break up the collagen) is conducted 1 to 3 days after the second injection.

Xiaflex Studies

Two randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled studies have demonstrated Xiaflex’s effectiveness for treating Peyronie’s disease.

  • 832 men, with Peyronie’s disease and a curvature of at least 30 degrees, participated in the studies.
  • Participants were given up to 4 treatment cycles of Xiaflex or the placebo and followed for 52 weeks.
  • Xiaflex was found to significantly reduce the penile curvature as well as the effects of Peyronie’s disease, when compared with the placebo.

Risks Associated with Xiaflex

Xiaflex for Peyronie’s disease is only available through a restricted program under a Risk Evaluation and Mitigation Strategy, through your doctor, due to the potentially serious adverse reactions. This can include penile fracture, where one of the penile bodies ruptures, and other serious penis injury. Other adverse side effects include: penile swelling, penile pain, and penile hematoma.

For this reason, Xiaflex should only be administered by a medical professional who has experience treating male urological diseases and who are certified within the program, by completing training in how to administer Xiaflex for Peyronie’s disease.

Baseline for the Squeeze, a New Bathpump Routine & More: Ask the Experts

Q. Regarding the Squeeze and establishing the baseline…

… how do I know my baseline? Is it the point where I start losing an erection level necessary to perform the exercise? The guide says start with 5 and work up to 50. I will start to lose the erection at some point for sure. Do I simply bring myself back to the desired erection level and continue? Where is the point where I’m done for the day?

Big Al:  Your initial test should be to train up to your limit of comfort- not pain or exhaustion.  You need to err on the side of caution as you’ll be expected to increase reps and intensity from the initial point for 4 to 6 weeks.  Starting too intensely will cause you to “peak” too early.  The 50 rep outline is a recommended MAXIMUM, and is usually achieved once you’ve reached a high level of development.

Q. A question about not using the Bathmate,…

… I am curious, from a technical point of view, as to why it is better to not incorporate with the jelq free workout?

Big Al:  Pumping is a workout in itself and places further stress on the penis.  You can only do so much and recover (and grow) before your next workout.  I’d advise training “pump free” for at least a few weeks to see how you do on the “Jelq Free” routine itself.

Optimally, you’d use the pump during your warm down from your standard training, but you can use it on a couple of your off days once you get acclimated, provided your EQ stays high.

A routine for using the pump would be as follows:

Week 1:

  • Day 1: Pump: 5 minutes
  • Day 2: Pump: 6 minutes
  • Day 3: Pump: 7 minutes

Week 2:

  • Day 1: Pump: 8 minutes
  • Day 2: Pump: 9 minutes
  • Day 3: Pump: 10 minutes (increase pressure again at the 5 minute mark)
  • Day 4: Pump: 11 minutes (increase pressure again at the 5 minute mark)

Week 3:

  • Day 1: Pump: 12 minutes (increase pressure again at the 5 minute mark)
  • Day 2: Pump: 13 minutes (increase pressure again at the 5 minute mark)
  • Day 3: Pump:  14 minutes (increase pressure again at the 5 minute mark)
  • Day 4: Pump:  15 minutes (increase pressure again at the 5 minute mark and again at the 10 minute mark)

Week 4:

  • Day 1: Pump: 16 minutes (increase pressure again at the 5 minute mark and again at the 10 minute mark)
  • Day 2: Pump: 17 minutes (increase pressure again at the 5 minute mark and again at the 10 minute mark)
  • Day 3: Pump:  18 minutes (increase pressure again at the 5 minute mark and again at the 10 minute mark)
  • Day 4: Pump:  19 minutes (increase pressure again at the 5 minute mark and again at the 10 minute mark)
  • Day 5: Pump:  20 minutes (increase pressure again at the 5 minute mark and again at the 10 and 15 minute mark)

The days worked above should be adjusted to your schedule.

Q (part 1). I have purchased the X4 extender. Is there a way to use…

… the extender for a few hours while I’m working on the computer at home?

Big Al: You can either do pure extender work or you can do a few sets of manual stretches to “pre-exhaust” your penis, so you can drastically cut down on the time needed to do your extending.

Q (part 2). Can you tell me more about combining the pre-exhaust with use of the extender?

Big Al: Pre-exhausting means you simply do a few sets of manual work prior to your extender work, to pre-stretch the penis. This would drastically eliminate much of the time requirement for extender work.

FDA Notes Vimax Contains Cialis Ingredient

Zen of Penis EnlargementIt has been asked why some of the basic routines are performed more frequently, in some phases, than many of the more advanced routines.  In this article, we’ll discuss and explain the logic and need behind this.

Beginner Penis Enlargement Routine is Not About Size Alone

It should be noted a beginner routine should not necessarily focus on size alone. Instead, general conditioning should be the priority, in order to ensure you can train your penis to withstand high levels of stress.  In the standard Basic Training routine, it has been noted there is a ceiling on the volume per workout done, but the frequency increases every couple of weeks to a high of training twice a day, for five days out of the week (for a total of 10 sessions in a two week period).  What the more frequent training does is to ‘condition’ you into getting fitter as quickly as possible.  By ‘fitter,’ I mean actual strengthening of your penis and a maximizing of your stamina.  The rep/volume ceiling is there to prevent overtraining and also to limit the possibility of injury to new trainees.  The beginner phase also prepares you to handle the targeted and intense exercises of the more advanced regimens.

This type of training can induce fatigue without inducing injury, and it is also not uncommon for a tranee’s EQ to dip slightly in the last week of training.  This is remedied by the layoff week that follows. This can result in a burst of gains via the ‘Rebound Effect,’ of having had enough time for full recuperation and growth.

Moving to Advanced Penis Enlargement Training

What often follows this phase is a switch to ‘Advanced’ training.  This type of training usually focuses on exercises that are more intense and target length or girth with more specificity.  There is also no ceiling of volume in the advanced phase, so the individual workouts themselves can be much more voluminous and challenging.  What often confuses a lot of trainees is how low the training frequency is for many of the advanced regimens.  The reason for this is the individual workouts are of higher intensity (as compared to the limited beginner phase workouts), which require more time for recuperation and growth.  It is very important to note training is merely the stimulus to gains.  It is during the actual rest phase where your penis and associated organs recuperate and grow.

The partial exception to the above is when a ‘High Volume/Low Intensity’ regimen is performed.  Movements like light jelqs, extender work and All Day Stretchers are done for higher volume and can be done more frequently because of the low intensity impact, compared to more advanced movements like heavy hanging or The Squeeze.  With this in mind, high volume movements can also be abused, and the ‘more is better’ mindset should be used for them.  To gain with high volume methods, you should make regular but limited increases from session to session, keeping a close eye on your EQ to ensure you’re not overtraining.

In Iceland, the Phallological Museum is on the hunt for it’s crowning glory… a human penis. Now, a penis museum, in and of itself, doesn’t strike me really as odd. Penises are my livelihood. In fact, if I find myself in Iceland someday, you bet I’m going to go check the Phallological Museum out. Who wouldn’t want to see penises from every mammal on the planet? I don’t even think it’s odd that they want to include a human penis in their display.

The head-scratcher are the two men vying to be “the final member” — the donor of the missing human penis, to complete this eccentric collection. Will it be the Icelandic native, the aged Pall Arason, who has contracted to have his penis donated to the museum, upon his death? Or, will it be the American Cowboy, Tom Mitchell, who is willing to donate his penis right now… BEFORE he dies.

Yes, you read that correctly… BEFORE he dies. Mr. Mitchell is willing to have his genitals removed, to secure his spot in the museum.

Stoned Sperm?

stoned spermWith the landmark legalization of recreational marijuana use in Colorado and Washington, a nation is beginning to question a long stigmatized drug. Although there are well-spoken proponents and opponents arguing both sides of the issue, there are scientifically proven effects on the body, from using pot — just like any other drug. One of these side effects is:

The negative effect on your sperm!

A study conducted by  New York’s University of Buffalo School of Medicine’s Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics, sheds light on how cannabis affects the sperm in men. The research studied 81 fertile men, comparing the ‘swimming behavior’ of the sperm, between the men who were frequent marijuana users. ‘Frequent users’ were defined as men who had used cannabis on average 15 times per week, for at least five years. The researchers found:

  • Men who smoked pot produced significantly less sperm, when compared to those who didn’t.
  • Men who smoked pot produced less seminal fluid, when compared to those who didn’t.
  • The swimming behavior (motility) of the sperm that were present were significantly different in men who used cannabis.  Pot smoking sperm swam too fast, too early and then quickly tired out, and were less likely to travel the distance needed to fertilize an egg.

It was theorized from these findings that the active ingredient in marijuana, tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) stimulates the sperm cells and causes the ineffective motility. Additionally, it is believed that the THC prevents the mechanism that normally blocks malfunctioning sperm. The research did not include how long (if possible) it would take to regain full fertility, if cannabis use was discontinued.

The researchers note that obviously there are longtime, frequent marijuana users who father children; however, they surmise for men who have a low sperm count or issues with sperm motility, marijuana use can make them completely infertile. Of course, there are other factors affecting the strength and health of your little swimmers — including nicotine use, diet, alcohol use, and exercise, to name a few — but, one thing becomes clear with this study…

If you’re hoping to hear the pitter-patter of little feet around the house, just say “No.”

Big Al: The drawback with cock ring jelqs is no new blood gets infused into the penis, though you might get more compression. You might try wearing it loosely to allow some blood to get through. While a cock ring might be more effective immediately, I think the high rep jelqs (especially with a higher degree of erection) is better overall.

Q. Here is the reason my confidence in the bedroom is a bit shaken at the moment. I am dating this new girl…

Big Al: Your situation is not uncommon, and stressing out over the penis size of another man (especially one who she’s not with anymore) is a dangerous precedent to set. The pattern you are setting up for yourself is one where you may easily develop performance anxiety. It’s going to be hard, but the way around that is to defuse the fear/anxiety you feel by not entertaining these thoughts.

All you can do is what you’re doing now. If that goes unappreciated, then the issue doesn’t lie with you. It’s also important to perform your exercises without any resentment- towards yourself or your girlfriend. Resentment towards yourself is going to make your training experiences negative ones, and it’s going to create problems with your girlfriend as you’re doing this because you perceive her to not be satisfied with you.

Q. I’m aware I’m probably a hard gainer…

…(perhaps mixed with the fact that I over-trained before), which is ok, I’ll just keep it up for however long and steady it takes. However, my flaccid gains have been very good during these past months, which I’ve read is an indicator of some erect gains coming up.

Big Al: The label “hard gainer” is one that should be taken carefully. I prefer to think you’re still seeking the optimal training format. Over-training can ruin the progress of even the most genetically-gifted trainees.

It’s really not an intuitive shape, and it’s actually quite different from other penises of mammals that are closely related to us. Primates, like the chimpanzee, do not have the pronounced glans, but instead have penile spines. The human penis is definitely unique!

The Human Penis: Big and Spineless

First, the human penis is relatively large, when compared with other mammals. And, those lack of penile spines is believed to have developed due to our tendency toward monogamous relationships. Penile spines have nerve endings, enhancing sexual sensation. Without those spines, humans are able to engage in longer bouts of sex, enhancing pair bonding and monogamy.

What About the Glans?

The mushroom shape of the human penis glans, and coronal ridge, actually does have a reason behind it’s design too. The umbrella shape actually is used to remove the semen (and sperm) of anyone else who may have copulated with your woman, during a certain period of time.  This then helps ensure your sperm is the one who impregnates her. Evolutionary psychologist, Gordon Gallup, actually experimented with different-shaped phalluses, and discovered that the human proportions were very effective at sweeping out semen.

This once private data is becoming public thanks to the Spreadsheets App.This mobile app uses your phone’s accelerometer and speakers to measure your duration, thrusts, and decibel peak during sex. This fun app not only gives you feedback on your performance in the bedroom, but also gives you the opportunity to earn ‘achievements,’ like “Seven in Heaven” for seven-minute long sessions (not including foreplay) or “Quick Spread” for a three-minute quickie.

According to Danny Wax, co-founder of the app, “Spreadsheets was created to approach sex in a way that is both light-hearted and improvement oriented. 6 Tips to Improving Self-Confidence

If you’re here at PEGym, chances are you’re looking to make a change in your life. Whether it’s enlarging your penis, increasing your sexual stamina, or one of the myriad of other self-improvement topics we discuss here, change is likely your desired goal. However, change for the better typically isn’t easy, and when our self-confidence begins to wain, we end up giving up before we realize our goals. Keep reading for six tips to improving your self-confidence.

  1. Self-confidence Starts in Your Head – What we focus on mentally becomes our reality. This is extremely true for our self-image. Although Stuart Smalley may have been a funny SNL character, there is value in positive self-talk. When self-doubt begins to creep in, stop and tell yourself you CAN do it. You WILL succeed. You ARE making progress toward your goal.
  1. Keep Moving Forward – I have a friend who does Ironman triathlons (2.1 mile swim, 112 bike ride, 26.2 mile run – all in the same day). When I was training for my first half-marathon, I voiced my fear about not finishing. He gave me this advice — “Just keep moving forward. No matter what. No matter how slow. Just keep moving forward, and you’ll get to the finish line.” I think that same piece of advice can be used when working toward any goal. Although you may not feel self-confident at the moment, just keep moving forward. Each step closer to your goal will help you feel more confident.
  1. Baby Steps – Sometimes our faltering self-confidence comes when we set goals that are too large. It may be what we ultimately want to achieve, but it begins to feel like it’s too unattainable. Instead, break up large goals into smaller chunks. Also, make some of these smaller goals activity-based, not just result-based. Activity-based goal – X number of Jelqs this week. Results-based goal – X inch erect length increase. As you complete these smaller goals, your confidence will grow and you can parlay those smaller successes into larger success.
  1. Dress for Success – Our outward appearance often is a reflection of how we’re feeling inwardly. This also works in reverse. Take time to look good, and you’ll feel better about yourself throughout the day. Now, this may not directly affect some of your goals, like penis enlargement, but it will help your general self-confidence level, which will positively impact your work toward all of your goals.

What is the Priapus Shot?

priapusWhile out with friends this weekend, one of my friends asked me, “So what’s up with this Priapus penis enlargement shot?” I admit; I was stumped. To my chagrin, I hadn’t even heard of it.

So, I’ve done a little research, in hopes of answering the question –

The Priapus shot was developed by a physician from Alabama, Dr. Charles Runnels. This creator of the O-Shot… yes, an orgasm shot for women.. came up with the Priapus shot while performing cosmetic lip enlargement on a patient. Dr. Runnels notes,

“[I]t occurred to me that it would be wonderful to do the same thing for the penis. If you can inject the mouth to give it a larger shape then why should you not be able to do the same thing with the penis?”

The Priapus shot uses platelet-rich plasma (PRP), injected into the penis. Used in the past in facelifts and scar regeneration, Dr. Runnels says the similar regenerative effects can be applied to the penis, resulting in a larger and harder penis.

Potential Complications

Of course, with all medical procedures, there are side effects you need to consider, before running down to get the Priapus shot.

  • Allergic reaction – Although the official Priapus shot website says there hasn’t been an instance of an allergic reaction, there is always a possibility when injecting foreign matter into the body.
  • Lumpiness – Again, anytime you inject foreign matter into your body, there is always a chance that some lumpiness or malformation will occur.
  • Temporary – Right now, the Priapus website is saying the effect lasts up to 18 months, with a possibility of it being permanent.
  • Not FDA Approved – As of this writing, the Priapus shot has not been approved by the FDA, for use in penis enlargement.
  • Expensive – The shot can costs thousands of dollars. And, remember, it’s likely temporary.

My Opinion?

This is such a new procedure, you need to consider this very, very carefully. Think about the issues women had with early silicone implants. When you put something in your body that nature/God/whoever you believe created you didn’t intend to be there — well, there are always possible repercussions. Here’s my thoughts:

  • Talk with your family physician before undergoing this, or any, medical procedure — someone who doesn’t have a financial stake in your decision.
  • Try other, less-invasive methods of penis enlargement, before you go to more extreme measures. Penis exercises, pumps, extenders, etc. have all been proven to be effective enlargement methods that are safe.
  • Be sure to actually talk to men who’ve had the procedure, if you’re really considering it. Don’t just read testimonials on a website. Have a face-to-face conversation about their experience, before you make a decision.

Remember — you only have one penis.

Q. I think I was neglecting my EQ (erection quality) training part a bit…

… I was doing them but not really increasing them, as I should. I think I was a bit low on the reps too. Lesson learned, I know I need to stay focused and keep accurate logs. My focus swayed a bit, but I think I’m back on track. The rest did me a world of good, as well as reading your emails detailing your routine. My focus is bringing my EQ and stamina into line with my exercises. I think that may have been letting me down. Appreciate any advice as always.

Big Al:  Thanks :)  You’re learning that EQ is a HUGE factor in gains.  You can make size gains with a mediocre “enlargement” program if your EQ is very high, whereas you can be following the best possible enlargement regimen and not make size gains if your EQ is not good.

Q. Basically, I have been doing what you said, and have gotten back the lost length,…

… so now I am approx 7.25 BPEL.  Up to 25 tension stretches.  How do I know when I stretched enough?

Big Al:  The early phase of a training cycle is where you establish a baseline to work up from.  This workout should allow for some training momentum in both intensity and volume, so you can forecast getting up to the final weeks being challenged.  Your penis should feel slightly tired, but any exhaustion should not last more than 1 hour (and this is towards the end of a cycle), and you should NOT be anything more than very slightly sore the next day.

Q. I noticed I get temporary gains of BPFSL of .25 inch…

… from before to after stretching.  Is growing all about cementing these gains?  Does temporary stretch eventually turn into permanent?

Big Al:  ”Growing the gains” is an excellent phrase to describe the effect you’re inducing :)  You should initially see an increase in the post-training FSL, which should manifest into actual gains.

Q. How often should I be ejaculating…

… and when would be the best times to do so, in order not to interfere with my training? 

Big Al: If you’re sexually active, then that would take priority over any structured training.  If you’re not sexually active, then you should limit your ejaculations to your stamina exercise.

More and more trainees are forgoing dating because they masturbate (especially to porn).  Some have even called it a ‘relationship substitute.’ By limiting your ejaculations to training only, your libido will be higher, and you’ll be more inspired to actually get out there and socialize.
