Chemical Penis Enlargement

This topic pops up in the forums every now and again. The posts usually start by saying something along the lines of…

I’m into (or just starting) body building and am taking (or thinking about taking) HGH. What do you think of HGH as a means of chemical PE?

Most of the time, these are well-meaning guys trying to get the results they want, as quickly and easily as possible.

I get that. And, it’s always good to consider all of your options when trying to bring about change.

However, HGH use has some pretty serious side effects (including those that could lead to potential death), so I figured we could talk about it here, so they don’t get lost in the millions of posts on our forums.

What is HGH?

HGH is short for human growth hormone. It’s produced by the pituitary gland and spurs growth in children and adolescents. The recombinant version is used to treat children with growth hormone deficiencies. Some have used HGH as “off-label” in the hopes of improving athletic performance and building muscle mass.

In the United States, HGH  is only available legally as a prescription. For that reason – if someone were thinking of using HGH, for any reason, they need to obtain it through a prescription, from their doctor.

Please note: Not all doctors will prescribe HGH. You’ll need to see a specialist – like an endocrinologist.

What are the Dangers of HGH?

For healthy adults, in particular, there are significant dangers to using HGH. These include:

  • High cholesterol (and associated heart disease and early death)
    .
  • Increased risk of colorectal cancer
    .
  • Increased insulin resistance (and eventual diabetes)
    .
  • Gynecomastia (swelling of the breast tissue in men – guess you get man boobs along with a temporary increased penis size)
    .
  • Joint and muscle pain
    .
  • Edema (swelling in the arms, legs, feet and hands)
    .
  • Carpal tunnel syndrome
    .
  • Decreased bone density (maybe not so important when you’re 20-something, but when you’re 60 and break a hip from a simple slip, you’re probably going to regret taking HGH when you were a kid)
    .
  • Loss of libido (sex drive)
    .
  • Sagging skin and increased skin wrinkling due to loss of skin tone

In fact, if you’re prescribed HGH by your doctor, standard protocol is to require monthly blood tests to monitor cholesterol and blood sugar, as well as bone density scans, because these risks are so high. With these things in mind, unless you have a medical reason for taking HGH, you’re pretty much playing Russian Roulette with your health.

Are There Natural Ways to Boost HGH?

Thankfully, there are natural ways you can boost your human growth hormone and avoid these dangerous side effects.

Laughter, sleep and exercise are three of the best ways to increase your body’s natural production of HGH. Lowering your stress levels as well as lowering your blood sugar levels will help improve your natural HGH levels. L-arginine and L-glutamine have also been reported to help your body naturally maximize HGH.

Can You Increase Your Penis Size with HGH?

HGH can temporarily increase blood flow to all parts of the body – including the penis. This can result in a temporary penis enlargement gain. And, if you see something online about how HGH caused multi-inch growth in a matter of weeks… well, watch out for that snake oil salesman! To get real penis enlargement results – enlargement that’s permanent – you need cellular growth and multiplication.

This is where penis exercises and PE equipment, like Bathmate pump or Phallosan penis extender, comes into play.  Manual penis exercises or penis enlargement equipment cause enough stress on the cells to create microtears. This then facilitates reproduction in their repair, to result in true tissue growth – not just expansion.

Although it might be tempting to try a shortcut like HGH, given the dangerous side effects and the fact that it won’t really result in permanent growth – stick with natural means of PE. Your gains will come, if you put the work in!
