It’s not news —
Eating too much fast food can negatively impact your health.
OK, this isn’t rocket science here. Fast food is typically high fat and high calories — both dangerous for your health. In fact, a 2005 study, funded by the U.S. National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute, found that just eating fast food twice a week significantly increases your chances of diabetes and heart disease. Now, the connection between fast food and poor penile health has been made.
Again obviously, eating too much fast food can lead to obesity. Read that part above again about most fast food being high in fat and calories. In fact, eat fast food just twice a week and you’ll increase the chance of you becoming obese by 70%! Obesity has been linked to increased incidence of erectile dysfunction.
Now, regularly consuming fast food has been found to result in endothelial dysfunction – a condition which causes reduced blood flow through the body, including – you guessed it – to the genitals. A study in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition revealed that eating a Big Mac meal reduced blood flow by 22.7 per cent – the same effect as breathing in secondhand smoke for 30 minutes.
We all know that bloodflow is CRITICAL to a healthy erection. Decrease bloodflow to the penis and you not only get softer (or even non-existent) erections, but you can also lose penis size.
So, next time you think of eating fast food, think again. That greasy burger can do damage to your heart, your waist line and your penis.
