If you’ve never used a water-assisted penis pump, it can seem a little intimidating. However, one of the great things about the Bathmate is it is SUPER easy to use!

Keep reading to learn how to use the Bathmate penis pump.

Step 1: Warm Up

Warming up is one of the most important components of any penis exercise routine. (Read more here: Warming Up the Penis Before Exercising).  When using the Bathmate, warming up is as easy as getting into the shower or bath!

Step 2: Fill the Bathmate with Water

Press in the pressure valve on the Bathmate. Keeping your finger over the valve, fill your Bathmate with warm water from your shower or bathtub.

Step 3: Place Your Penis in the Bathmate

Place your penis inside the Bathmate, in the warm water. You don’t have to be erect. The most important thing is to make sure the comfort pad forms a seal between your pubic area and the Bathmate.

Step 4: Pump the Bathmate

Push the Bathmate toward your pubic area. Water will be expelled through the valve and a vacuum created. This vacuum will draw your penis into the Bathmate, as well as draw blood into your penis, causing an erection.

Step 5: Leave on for 15 Minutes

If needed, you can pump the Bathmate again, to create more vacuum. Then leave the Bathmate on for 15 minutes, or for the time length dictated in your penis exercise routine. Holding the Bathmate with one hand, go ahead and complete your normal bathing routine, while the Bathmate does all of the work for you!

Step 6: Remove the Bathmate

Compress the main valve at the end of the Bathmate to release the vacuum inside the pump. You can then safely remove the Bathmate from your penis.

Optional: Use a Shower Strap

Using the optional shower strap (The shower strap comes standard in all Xtreme models!) allows you to have a hands-free pumping session. Simply pump the Bathmate and allow the shower strap to hold your pump in place, while you go about your normal bathing routine.
