JP and his granddaughter.
As BigAl noted to me, it is a bittersweet Thanksgiving here at PEGym.
On November 25th, 2015, one of our founding members, JonPop, lost his battle with cancer. Although we are truly thankful for the years we’ve had JP here, his presence will be sorely missed.
JP has helped thousands of men reach their goals. He was always there to give advice and provide motivation. He truly embodied what PEGym is all about. He helped others unselfishly – gladly answering questions from new members and experienced users alike. His beginner’s program – JP’s 90-day Beginner Routine – is a staple here at PEGym.
JP was always there for me, when I needed a sounding board about trickier situations. He gave solid advice, often presenting options I hadn’t fully considered. I cherished that insight.
He was a proud American, and a proud Veteran. He unselfishly served America in the Vietnam War. To the end, he believed people should help one another, but also was a strong advocate of personal responsibility. We shared a common political belief system, so I always looked forward to him sending me funny political cartoons and memes.
JP was kind and caring, thoughtful and warm. He thought of others so often before himself. He was smart, strong and resourceful. PEGym was a second home to him, and we considered him family. He was a man of true character and there just aren’t the right words to say how much he will be missed and how our hearts are utterly broken at losing him so soon..
God bless you, JP! We miss you already, my friend.
